Space and capacity
Odd Socks is approximately 120m², with room for up to 70 seated guests or around 120 standing. Around 24 seats are in fixed booths; other tables, chairs and sofas can be repositioned.
Meetings and presentations
About 26 conventional table and chair seats can be arranged for boardroom or classroom-style sessions, with booths and sofas for breakout space. Free Wi-Fi, power sockets, a projector, fabric screen, HDMI connection and speakers for presentations or video are available.
Times and price
Exclusive hire is available weekdays from 5pm, Saturdays from 2pm and all day Sunday, normally until 11pm. Later finishes can be discussed. Standard hire is £75 per hour; larger groups are £100 per hour to cover extra staffing. Food, drinks and catering are additional.
Arriving and getting around
There is parking for approximately 5–6 vehicles immediately outside, with additional free, unrestricted parking nearby. Vehicles can pull up to the entrance for drop-off or unloading; tell us in advance if you need the entrance area kept clear.
The entrance is step-free, the venue is on one level, and there is an accessible toilet and spacious wheelchair access. There is no designated accessible parking bay.
Food and drink, your way
The normal café menu and drinks range can be available during private hire. For larger groups, we can arrange buffet catering or discuss food tailored to your event. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free requirements can be discussed in advance.
You are welcome to bring your own food or caterer. All drinks are supplied by Odd Socks, and the café counter is staffed throughout the hire.

The whole venue can be hired for corporate meetings, presentations, seminars, training, workshops, talks, classes, social functions and celebrations. Let us know your preferred layout, guest numbers and what you would like to do; the space is flexible rather than tied to a fixed package.
If you are starting a club, meet-up or community activity and do not need exclusive use, the shared café arrangement may suit you better.

Yes. Private hire gives you exclusive use of the whole venue; Odd Socks is not open to general customers during your booking.
